Thanksgiving Week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beware this is a picture overload! You have been warned. This Thanksgiving we did a little traveling. Joe and Vanessa stopped by College Station for a few days so we decided to stop by and spend some time with them.

From College Station we hopped over to Austin to spend Thanksgiving with the Stallards. Kaitlyn and Ava had such a great time together like always. I enjoyed watching them play and to see Eli and Addy interact. I always love being around Joy, she brings out the fun in me and is so inspiring. Not many people can do that.

The train ride was great. The kids loved it so much!!!!!!

There was this guy who played for money so the conductor stopped. It was cute he focused on the kids. Eli and Addy loved it.

The photo session. Joy made this dress for Kaitlyn...isn't it to die for. These girls were made to be in front of the camera.

I hope every one had a safe and exciting thanksgiving.

Eli-isms

My son is the most active adventurous on in our house and I love the energy he brings to this family...about 90% of the time.

  • * Look at that face no matter what he does if he flashes his smile it's over. How can you punish him.
* his favorite toys are choo-choo's (which really means any thing that rolls: cars, trains, bikes, motorcycles, Oh and airplanes)

* When ever he hears a loud noise from a car or something he perks up and yells "choo-choo"

* His favorite activities are taking things from people so they have to chase him, eat, rummage through the fridge and pantry, and watch boy shows, checking and blowing out all the candles in the house.

*Must-haves for bed, most of you know about the blanky which he now calls for when he's upset he has added Monkey, and Dino to the bedtime mix. He's attached to them. We also all give him kisses, it doesn't work if he doesn't get his kisses. And he's in a toddler bed now, amazing right.

Favorite foods:
  1. pizza
  2. go-gurt
  3. candy
  4. cake balls
  5. chicken
  6. cheese sticks
  7. suckers (they are my last resort everywhere we go)
  8. raisins/grapes
  9. any fruits (mostly strawberries, bananas, peeled apples, and pineapples)
  10. and don't forget the ranch and catchup

Did I mention he can talk! Yeah here's the words he can say

  1. peepa-pizza
  2. gogo-gogurt
  3. cany-candy
  4. nana-banana
  5. no
  6. mama (he calls me, Aaorn and my friend Jen this. Cracks me up)
  7. dada (yes he can say it, just chooses not to)
  8. bye bye
  9. Dew-juice
  10. cheese
  11. nini-night night
  12. ba-bath
  13. Kaka-kaitlyn
  14. peba-peek-a boo
  15. mimi
  16. first sentance "I want my dadda."
  17. outdide-outside
  18. dumpdump- Trampoline

He says more but I can't think of it.

Kaitlyn's favorite thing about him: playing hide and seek

Aaron's favorite thing about him: hearing all the interesting things Eli has done...we laugh about it at night.

My favorite thing about him: our quality time in the morning. We just hangout and snuggle while everyone else is sleeping, and also watching him laugh.

Happy Halloween!!!

As you can see Eli was a Monkey and Kaitlyn was Strawberry Shortcake. the day of Halloween our friends had a little party with games and fun treats. Then we went around their neighbor hood before going home and making our way around ours. Kaitlyn had a great time dressing up 5 times in one week.

Promise these aren't real worms but they look real ha. He was the only kid brave enough to eat them.

This is my little monkey. The whole way to the ward trunk-or-treat he was making monkey sounds. "Ooh-Ooh Ahh-Ahh." To cute.

A string of bad luck (Beware I'm venting)

The past few months there has been a black cloud hanging over us. Let me start with the leak...in Texas when it rains is pours so most of September and October it rained every day and I noticed that our carpet was wet in our bedroom. then the smell came. Yeah there is a leak (Aaron sealed it) and it was starting to mold. So Aaron cut out the carpet and we had a fan on 24 hours a day to dry out the spot. While he was sealing the outside he poked the siding with a stick and it just crumbled. Yikes, he said the only thing there was the paint, no wood was there (not termites thank goodness).

Closely after the leak Eli was taking a bath in our bathtub with Kaitlyn and the love to slide down into the tub. Well Eli uses the edge to climb up and he fell onto the tile teeth first and you guessed it, chipped both of his front teeth. Breaks my heart every time I see him smile.

Then I had a friend back into my car then I backed into a pole (my poor car, wait there's more).

Eli got hold of my laptop I stole from Aaron and plucked out about 20 keys. I have put most back with little trouble but there are now8 missing keys that will not go back on. Thanks to my little angel! Oh and the backspace only works some of the time.

Aaron watched 8 kids 2 weeks ago and when I got home our trampoline net was ripped in a line all the way around and the next morning I discovered a cracked window. Needless to say Kaitlyn is no longer allowed to have a birthday party at home and he will no longer be babysitting.

This past week my check engine light was on but Aaron car broke down so his car went in first...2 1/2 days later and 500.00 he got his car back and it was my turn. The transmission is fading and has to be replaced. I am praying they will wave the labor since the just rebuilt the tranny a little over a year and a half ago. They are good people and I am confident they will try and make it right!
Well I hope you survived my lashing out, I am grateful that my family was not harmed any of our trials. And without the gospel in my life I would be in an institution right now. Oh and a huge thanks to all my friends and family who have had to listen to me over and over and over again about my trouble. I promise I will remove myself from my pitty party!

Way fun weekend

I Love visiting B/CS because it means fun fun fun. The last weekend of September my sister Kathy came down for the ceiling of Hannah to 2 of the greatest people Meg and Peter.

Here is Kitty and Allen. What a man.

The girls at lunch

This is a funny story, Friday night we had a girls night and apparently Meg ditched another girls night to hang with us out of towners and they came with panties and rollers and attacked the front of her house. They had these hilarious masks on that freaked Meg out! It was a long but fun night.

Meg hording candy to the football game. Can you see the bump?

The clouds were crazy cool.

By the end of the game I was sick and we had to stay in CS till Monday b/c I couldn't move let alone drive Sunday. A huge thank you to Jane for taking care of me and the kids while we were sick. We love you so much and appreciate all you do for us. Also to Meg for letting me tag along with her and Kathy...I hope you guys got SOME time for just you guys. Love you all, and Kitty thanks for finally posting.

Kaitlyns first day of school

I am pleased to announce that Kaitlyn has started school 2 days a week. There is a lady in our ward who has a degree in education and holds class at her home. Kaitlyn LOVES it and so do I. She has started talking a lot more (not sure if that's good or bad), learning her letters, new songs and finally has some structure in her life. I have noticed also she is happier the days she goes to class. Here are a few photo's from her first day.

Being welcomed by Mrs. Melanie. I have to say she was a bit nervous the first day. She kept telling me she was, "Just a little freaked out." I stayed to take a few photos then left.

I finally got a hold of Melanie to ask how Kaitlyn was doing and she said, she's doing great. Especially when they have song time. This makes me happy :)

photo shoot via my camera

Torrie has more photo's, mostly of Kaitlyn and they turned out adorable. As soon as we got to the mall park Torrie took Kaitlyn to the fountain and I took Eli to the water falls. He had fun getting wet and to tell you the truth so did I. It was stinkin hot!!!!!!!

This is typical E-man
KK and Austin

I love this face

I hope to have more pictures of this shoot coming soon.
